SWMU 66 – Former UST No. 209

SWMU 66 is located southwest of Hangar 200 in a small open level area surrounded by secondary growth vegetation. Historic records reviews identified this area as the former location of UST No. 209. The physical site inspection observed no evidence of a UST, although there was a relatively open area with heavy secondary growth vegetation at the area. There were no signs of stressed vegetation observed during the site inspection.

Subsurface soil samples were collected and analyzed to characterize the site. Based upon the low concentrations of organics found at the site, it is tentatively concluded that no impact to the environment has occurred at the Former UST No. 209 site.

Status

• A Determination of Corrective Action Complete Without Controls is recommended for the Former UST No. 209 site in the RCRA 7003 Administrative Order on Consent.
